Have you ever tried to walk in someone else’s moccasins?
Empathy is quite a simple word but the amount of compassion it carries is huge. And is it a trait you should have? Absolutely.
It’s not a script, there is no right or wrong. It’s just listening, holding space , withholding your judgement, connecting emotionally and saying nothing but “you are not in this alone”.That is what the world needs right now.
Sometime back I lost someone very dear to me. I was always this strong person who could seldom show her emotional side to anyone and in this situation as well I didn’t let out the void it had created in my life. Though I consoled the family that all shall be well but the heart wouldn’t heal. I stepped in to fill the void this person had created in her sons life and then mind seemed to accept and move ahead.
The fact is heart is vast but the empathy is stronger than any other emotion you possess. It does not require solution only understanding.
Showing empathy is a good trait, it’s known to be the highest form of knowledge. Today one of the best kind of leadership is empathy since the core of leadership is about others. And what does empathy have to do with leadership? Everything because it’s about connecting, listening and bonding with people to inspire and empower their lives. If not followed yet, you may want to develop the power of empathy and see how the door of world opens to you.
I may not have walked in your shoes, but I can see it’s worn....
Should be from the weight of your story that I have never lived before....

Emotionally connected can be with few specific and special persons in our lives

We are all just floating with our own world..
Connected to the world with small word internet but constrained to oneself in small device.
We all need one ear to 👂 and move on.
Leadership with empathy is a new style coming up but it is temporary..
I have rarely seen Leadership with empathy. Even if there it is due to one's interest.
Have connected with emotionally with few very few people but due to situation can't express and this is my situation
